It’s another red sky night here in Durham Region and tonight I was out in Oshawa at a meeting. You might recognize Parkwood Estate from a number of films or television shows, including the recent miniseries, “The Kennedys” or the Adam Sandler comedy, “Billy Madison”. Tonight I stood outside and imagined that the McLaughlin family was inside, Sam sitting by the fire reading a book while Adelaide knitted nearby, both of them winding down after a long day working in their community (both of the public schools I attended were named for the McLaughlins).
How would you like to come home to a place like this?

That almost looks fake, it’s so perfect! Beautiful.
I think it’s time I went for another tour of that place, it’s really special.
