I don’t know what got into me this morning but I decided to make potato salad. Actually my train of thought went something like this:
“I think I’ll make good deli sandwiches for Graham for dinner tonight.”
“I should get him some potato salad to go with his sandwich.”
“But who knows what is in that?”
“I think I’ll make potato salad, instead.”
So I did. I’ve been looking at food labels a lot more lately and trying to choose ahem real food whenever possible over stuff that is processed or preserved. After I made this potato salad I felt really good. Yes, it’s made with mayonnaise that comes in a plastic squeeze bottle, but I can say with complete confidence that I know what the source of all of the other ingredients is. This is about progress, right?
